ALASKA RAFT CONNECTION TERMS & CONDITIONS TERMS & CONDITIONS
TO RESERVE YOUR RENTAL EQUIPMENT OR TRIP SPACE:
 1.)
A 50% deposit is required upon booking any and all ALASKA RAFT
CONNECTION services. This deposit locks in your dates, times,
equipment, any services as well as will validate/confirm your
reservation and is non-refundable. Upon receipt of your deposit,
verification/confirmation and trip preparation information will be
sent promptly to you. Final sum of payment is necessary 15 days
before rental goes out or trip departure. Reservations made less
than 15 days ahead of departure must be accompanied by full payment.
2.) Should you cancel/call-off/terminate the trip subsequent to
confirmed booking for any cause/rational/explanation - this will
result in complete forfeiture of your 50% deposit. These
cancellations are not transferable and cannot be postponed or
applied to any future tours.
3.) Payment in full by currency, personnel check, bankers check,
money order, travelers check, credit card or via Pay-Pal is
compulsory prior to rentals going out or trip departure.
4.) In the event that rental equipment or trip departures and/or
returns are postponed or canceled due to non-risk-free acts of
nature here in Alaska, (* also see Air Arrangements) or ALASKA RAFT
CONNECTION cancels or postpones the trip for any reason in an effort
to assure rental equipment or tour out of evident harm's way, ALASKA
RAFT CONNECTION will make every effort and attempt to put you and/or
your group on a corresponding trip of equal value.
Here in Alaska we have a very short window of spring, summer, and
fall float trip activity. Alaska is Alaska - we have dynamic and
distinctively diverse factors that can influence keeping to an
itinerary on any prospective wilderness trips. Prearranged logistics
such as rental equipment availability, transport, air taxis and
permitting can be multifaceted therefore characteristically must be
well thought-out ahead of time and organized with contingency well
in advance. Commitment and assurance is an essential provision to
providing the premier Alaska experience.
Rental Equipment and
Trip Pricing are non-negotiable and not for trade.
AIR ARRANGEMENTS MADE BY YOU OR THE ALASKA RAFT CONNECTION:
1.) Today, all airfares can be very restrictive (even small air
chartering services or bush flying), and carry cancellation
charges imposed ranging from 25% to 100%. Any changes or
cancellations to airfares (or related logistics) after booking are
your financial responsibility. In the event that your air schedule
requires a stay in Anchorage or in any town, ALASKA RAFT
CONNECTION will lend a helping hand to point you in the
right direction hotel reservations. Overnights are at your
expense as are any extra overnights. This would not apply to
potentially getting stuck in the wilderness on a float trip due to
poor flying/landing weather or awfully irregular river
conditions... ALASKA RAFT CONNECTION will take concern of this event as
all-inclusive in the field. Most airlines are very good here in
Alaska about getting you on the next available departure should
your bush plane charter flight be delayed due to weather. In this
event the bush flying service will generally provide you with a note on company
letterhead defining the cause for delay and you missing your
flights home.
2.) ALASKA RAFT CONNECTION reserves the right to
increase the any/all pricing in the event of YOUR last minute
reservation alterations. We further oblige the decision to
surcharge
for an over-indulgence of excessive personal baggage requiring
extra aircraft, boats, guides, or other transportation.

ALASKA RAFT CONNECTION is a fully licensed, permitted,
and insured service with a first-rate safety record.
Nevertheless, as with all outdoor adventure activities, there are
inherent risks involved. Each participant must acknowledge this by
reading, understanding, accepting, acknowledging, and signing a waiver and
release of liability form prior to any rental equipment going out
or trip departure.
